Easter Eggspress
 On 20th March 2006 , Far North Queensland was hit by a Category 5 Cyclone known as Cyclone Larry.
As Australians donated hundreds of thousands of dollars for the families affected and to assist in the rebuilding that was necessary, Zero to One decided to focus on the children of this disaster and put a smile back on the faces of the children of Innisfail. The township of Innisfail was the worst hit with 1 in 3 homes destroyed.
We approached chocolate companies Darrell Lea, Haighs, Belgian Delights and Chocolate Fare who generously donated hundreds of Easter Eggs. Contour Furniture on the Gold Coast and Warwick Fabrics generously contributed with cash donations to help make the Easter Eggspress to Innisfail Appeal possible.
Zero to One traveled to cyclone ravaged Innisfail on April 13 th with New Idea Magazine and handed out the donated Easter Eggs to the hundreds of kids waiting inside the Innisfail Police Citizens Youth Centre.
Many of the parents that brought their children to the PCYC expressed their gratitude to our Zero to One representatives saying they wouldn't have been able to afford to purchase eggs this Easter and their children would have gone without.
Afterwards, Zero to One then traveled to various Daycare Centres in Innisfail and surrounding areas and arrived unannounced and surprised kids with even more Easter Eggs.
Now, three weeks after Easter, many people are still without power and transport. Zero to One continue to assist the residents of Innisfail by providing 2 buses that residents can travel general routes on for free for the entire month of May.
