Bali Bombing Surviors Bike Ride
Bali Bomb survivors Glen Forster, Ben Tullipan, Andrew Csabi & Glenn Cosman will be involved in a 100 km bike ride that is taking place from Brisbane to the Gold Coast on the 6th Bali Bomb Memorial on October 12th 2008.

Aceh Housing Projects Complete
With over 1000 houses built Zero to One Foundation has succesffully completed all its housing targets that it planned in Aceh. This has helped over 4000 victims with housing as well as employment, schools, medical facilities and other important infrastructure.

Depsos Village Underway
After many months of planning and hard work the Depsos village (Ladong) is now underway.
With 3 houses almost complete and another 180 to follow on the first of 2 sites
the project is on track to get Tsunami victims into homes by early next year.

Alue Naga Village Complete
Ecstatic Alue Naga Villagers come to inspect their newly built houses after the
official completion of the 78 house project. The new residents were happy with the
quality and speed on construction and and can not wait to move into their new homes.

Depsos Villagers eager to see Progress
Villagers of Depsos visit almost everyday to the Depsos site, which
will become home to over 200 families when completed. This development will consist
of housing, roads, water facilities and sanitation facilities...helping the victims
of the Tsunami out of barracks and into real homes.

First House at Lampineung Village
After waiting for 4 years for assistance to the Tsunami the villagers of Lampineung
rejoiced as the first house was finally constructed. A total of 181 houses will
be built in Lampineung village as well as support jobs and livelihoods in the community.

Palau Aceh
All 183 houses on Palau Aceh have been successfully completed. The houses were handed
over in a small handing of the keys ceremony to the residents of Palau Aceh (An
island off Banda Aceh - Indoensia) Victims were delighted with the quality and speed
of the reconstruction.

Memorial Prize
Congratulations to Jarreau Alinur, the winner of Griffith University's
Robert Thwaites memorial prize 2007. This prize is given to the student with the
highest cumulative grade point average over three consecutive years in the field
of Engineering.

Alue Naga Community Centre
Zero to One in collaboration with CRS have completed the local Alue Naga community centre. The centre will be used for traditional ceremonies, community meetings and will be the heart of all community functions in Alue Naga. |

First 25 houses complete on Palau Aceh
After a month of construction the first 25 houses on Palau Aceh have already been complete, the local residents on Pulau Aceh are ecstatic with the reconstruction effort and happy with the progress on the island. |

H.S.H Prince Albert ll of Monaco visits
Sirombu
Sunday 3rd of December was the official
inauguration of the Monaco Complex in Sirombu Village
by H.S.H Prince Albert ll of Monaco in a vibrant
ceremony attended by the delegation of the Monaco
Asian Society, United In Diversity and Partners,
Government Officials, the residents of Sirombu and
the Zero to One Foundation.

Building on Palau Aceh
The walls of the first house on
Palau Aceh are up, the first of many. Zero to One
has teamed up with Catholic Relief Services (CRS)
to help rebuild houses on Palau Aceh Island. The
remote island sits above Banda Aceh, the hardest
hit area by the Boxing Day Tsunami. |

Bali Memorial
Many supporters came to pay their
respects to those lost in the Oct 12th 2002, and
Oct 2nd 2005 Bali Bombings at the Bali Memorial at
Allambe Gardens, held every year on the 12th October.

Reconstruction in Aceh
After the successful reconstruction of Sirombu Village, Zero to One and Australian Red Cross have teamed up again for another joint community reconstruction project in Banda Aceh. The project has already commenced and is expected to finish a total of 306 houses plus community infrastructure by February of next year.
